Bridgeport – Intersection Crash
Two vehicles collided in Bridgeport last Monday.
At around 6:00 p.m., local authorities received reports of a crash at the intersection of Water Street and Fairfield Avenue. Initial reports describe a collision between a Ford Escape and a prisoner transport vehicle in the area. The transport van carried several passengers, and at least four people were transported to St. Vincent’s Medical Center for evaluation and treatment. The driver of the Ford was also hospitalized. The female motorist was eventually given a warning for failure to give right of way.
It is not unusual for intersection accidents to be caused by reckless or negligent behavior. Driver education is imperative following these incidents so that future crashes/collisions can be avoided. That said, people injured in road accidents are advised to talk to legal experts so that they can be made aware of their options.
