Bridgeport – Head-On Collision
Two vehicles collided near an intersection in Bridgeport last Saturday evening.
A few minutes past 9:00 p.m., two vehicles, a car and an SUV, driving in opposite directions collided near the intersection of Lindley Street and Randall Avenue. The driver of the car sustained injuries and was transported by responders to the hospital for treatment. The driver of the SUV fled the crash site before officers arrived. The crash resulted in slight delays in the area — the scene has since been cleared of all obstructions. Officials have yet to disclose the identity of the injured motorist and other relevant info. The crash is still under investigation.
While it’s likely that panic drives certain suspects to leave accident sites, it still won’t understate the fact that instances of hit-and-run will only make things worse for culprits/suspects. Having said that, motorists injured in incidents involving negligence will have the option to pursue options that can help them cope and find closure. Under appropriate circumstances, legal experts will advise filing for damages/compensation as a good option.
