Bridgeport – Child Victim Of Hit-And-Run
A pedestrian was seriously injured by a motorist in Bridgeport yesterday afternoon.
At around 3:00 p.m., emergency crews responded to reports of a hit-and-run at the intersection of North and Lexington Avenues. It was around dismissal time at the Geraldine Johnson School near the intersection. According to officials, a green pickup truck was running along North Avenue when it hit a child pedestrian. The driver of the truck left the scene of the incident. The child sustained serious injuries and was attended to by EMS crews. Officials are currently looking for the suspect in the incident.
