Bridgeport – Child Injured By Car
A child was injured in Bridgeport yesterday afternoon.
At approximately 4:40 p.m., authorities received reports of an accident on Wake Street, near its intersection with Pear Harbor Street. Emergency crews quickly responded and discovered a car that had hit a child riding a bicycle. The car remained at the scene; the driver cooperated with authorities. EMS crews have tended to the victim but have yet to disclose the extent of the child’s injuries. The accident is currently being investigated.
