Bridgeport – Car Crashes Into Store
A car crashed into a building in Bridgeport last Sunday morning.
Authorities responded to reports of a crash on 57 Boston Avenue and discovered a car that swerved off the road and into a closed Payless Kids store. When emergency crews arrived they saw two passengers outside the vehicle with injuries. No other vehicle was involved in the incident. The case is still being investigated by officials.
It can be challenging to establish accountability/liability in single-vehicle accidents like this when culprits/causes are not readily apparent. That said, there have been cases where product/vehicle defects caused road accidents, so this possibility will always be explored by investigators. Studying this and other road incidents can help inform us of our legal rights as motorists if ever we are involved in similar situations in the future.
