Bradford – Car Chase Suspect Identified

The driver of the vehicle involved in a car chase that ended in Branford has been identified.

Two people were arrested following a prolonged car chase that started in New Haven and ended when the suspect’s vehicle crashed on West Main Street in Branford. Several people were injured in the incident, including two police officers and a civilian. The driver of the car has now been identified as 33-year-old Marquis Johnson. His passenger was eventually released from custody, while Johnson currently faces charges of engaging police in pursuit, interfering with an officer, evading responsibility, reckless driving, and first-degree reckless endangerment.

This case highlights how reckless or negligent individuals are made liable for their behavior, and the dedication authorities exhibit in bringing these culprits to justice.  It’s also important to note that injured parties involved in these situations have rights and options that they can discuss with their legal counsel, including filing for damages.
