Bethlehem – ATV Crash Resulted In Fatal Injuries
An ATV operated by a teen crashed in Bethlehem yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred less than a quarter mile off Woodcreek Road. The victim, a 14-year-old boy, was driving his ATV in the woods when he crashed, sustaining critical injuries in the process. Town firefighters were able to reach the crash site to assist the victim, but he died in the accident. The identity of the victim has yet to be released pending an investigation into the cause of the incident. Officials will release updates when appropriate.
Single-vehicle accidents with no obvious causes will be investigated thoroughly to eliminate all possibilities. Product/vehicle defects have resulted in accidents in the past, so this angle will also be studied by investigators. These things said, if authorities discover negligence in any of these cases, victims or their families have options at their disposal. Consulting their legal counsel would be very useful in these situations.
