Bethany – Pedestrian Hit By Vehicle
A pedestrian accident occurred in Bethany late yesterday afternoon.
At around 5:15 p.m., officials received reports of a crash on Route 63. Emergency teams were quickly sent to the area and blocked off Amity Road between Cheshire and Clark Roads in the towns of Bethany and Naugatuck. A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle at the scene. No word yet on DUI or hit-and-run. Paramedics have since arrived on-site to assist the injured pedestrian, though it’s not yet clear if the victim was hospitalized. The case is currently under active investigation.
