Beacon Falls – Serious Crash With Entrapment
A vehicle fell down an embankment in Beacon Falls yesterday morning.
Authorities are investigating a crash that occurred on Route 8. At approximately 7:00 a.m., a vehicle with one occupant was traveling on the roadway when it suddenly swerved off its proper path, crashing into a guardrail before falling into an embankment. The driver sustained serious injuries and had to be extricated by responding firefighters. He was then taken to Waterbury Hospital for treatment.
